Fresh Air for Me

This is a confession.

I have been a PC user all my life. From my very first experiences with Windows 3.1 to my beloved copy of XP professional, I have been a loyal and happy user. I have always felt safe and secure in my PC dominated little world, with Mac being the hippie kid that no one hung around with really, and Linux being the annoying child that was generally ignored. These days, that is all changing. I’m going to leave Linux out of this post due to my lack of knowledge of this now up and coming OS.

But Mac…Oh Mac. Yesterday, I was tempted by you, and the darkside which you represent.

Enough with the melodrama. How badly do you want to splurge for a Macbook air?

Weighing only 3 pounds, and sporting nearly as much processing power as my fat dell has now, this is like the holy grail of portable computers. This laptop is so thin, it can fit inside an envelope, you know, the big ones that interoffice memo’s travel in, but yet it has a full keyboard (which is backlit by the way). Amazing. I want one.

Starting today, I am adding a new goal to my big list for 2008. Raise enough revenue on the web to be able to purchase myself a new Macbook Air.

So far, we are at 0/$1800 - therefore, I better get started.

Do you have a Macbook air story to share? Even a switching from PC to Mac story, I’d love to hear them. I need as much information on this as I can get, because I don’t know if I am ready to make the switch completely. Let’s hear your thoughts!
