According to Google Analytics, which I recently installed on the blog, here are the results of installing Entrecard, launching my new theme, and stumbling the launch post:
Keep in mind that this happened around the time frame of 8pm EST last night.
Google Analytics Stats:
- 76 Visits
- 160 Page views
- 3.09 Pages/Visit
- 90.79% New Visits
Now, we should probably send Entrecard some flowers and a marriage proposal, and we owe Stumbleupon a lot of credit as well. Now, if only we could keep all the traffic coming. I made a little screenie to show you what kind of traffic we were experiencing before and after the happenings.

That graph should give you a fairly good idea of the deadpan we were experiencing, followed by the overwhelming success of last night. My next little graphical treat shows the statistical breakdown of those 80 or so visitors that we had last night:
You can clearly see from these numbers, that we have the right idea in terms of referrals, but that we can use some work with getting hits from search engines. I plan on making these posts regularly, because it’s extremely fun for me to write them, and it gives you guys a betteridea of how we are doing and what we are doing. I plan on doing a series about Alexa, because right now, that search engine company seems like a giant crap shoot to me. So, we shall see what I come up with after doing some research. Keep looking for that.
