What to do for the 50th post?
Well, here we are, 3 month’s later, at the 50th post. So, I decided, let’s have a little celebration for ourselves!
But What to do?
Well, let’s start off with a little recap of memorable post’s so far!
The First Post - How Can I forget where it all started? The day I realized I wanted to start a business blog! What a glorious day it was to; in the middle of exams, overdue assignments, and debts all over the place. Good times, good times.
My John Chow Review - Can you believe that I reviewed John all the way back in batch number 17? I believe he is closing in on 60 batches, so I like to consider myself one of the originals.
Green Energy - My first post in my series about Green Energy, I do consider it my first real article. I haven’t managed to write a 2nd one yet, but I can feel another good one coming. A good read if I do say so myself .
BizStudent gets into the Agloco debate - My first article that generated some discussion! A proud moment to be sure.
The Beginning of the Overhaul - The beginning of the new, improved and refocused BizStudent!
High Yield Savings Accounts - My own spin on a great article I read over at Get Rich Slowly. An excellent article about high interest savings accounts, with a bit of a Canadian spin on them.
Choosing the right banking software - The crown jewel of BizStudent posts, an excellent and in depth case study done by yours truly about home banking software.
Why is scuba diving like life? - I don’t know either, but here is my attempted explanation.
Well, there is a little list for you to enjoy, a look back on Bizstudent so far. For my next act, I would like to show a little appreciation for the people that inspire me, and take the time to come and comment on BizStudent. “Showing some community love” as Mr. John Chow put it.
Community Love
Net Business Blog - My favorite business blog! Always a great read, and I even won a contest there! Thanks Matt, keep it up
John Chow - Where it all started, the great granddaddy of making money on the internet. He’s an evil one too.
SiteLogic - Another great little technology read, Jez always finds the time to come read and leave a few comments. Thank You Sir.
Tyler Cruz - Just another bright, broke, young adult just trying to make it in the world. Kidding! Tyler is a good guy, and a marketing guru!
Everyday Weekender - Someone who blogs about the area where I spend my summers and eventually want to retire to. It’s gotta be some kind of conspiracy.
And last but not least, this is where I encourage you, the reader, to do various things such as:
And keep coming back to read! Thank you all for making BizStudent what it is after this short time.
- Jack
